FORD RANGER PX III, EVEREST & RANGER RAPTOR

In 2018, Series 3 of Ford’s Ranger was introduced to the market. Known as the PX3 – these consist of the normal Ranger (available in several models), plus the all-new to the Australian market Ranger Raptor, as well as the latest Everest SUV. Aside from a few cosmetic improvements over the Series 2 models (as well as a front suspension revamp & a few other bits & pieces), the PX3 series of Rangers & the Everest are extremely popular. They are very spacious & comfortable & offer fantastic driveability on or off the road. Ford’s most expensive Ranger yet, the Raptor, was new to Australia in 2019. It’s very capable; is larger & more beefier than the PX3 & is also heavier, but has a lower towing capacity than the PX3 Ranger. Ford has also added a new engine into the mix for the Series 3 Rangers & Everest – a new high-tech 2-litre bi-turbo 4-cylinder engine to join the usual 2.2-litre 4-cylinder & 3.2-litre 5 cylinder engines for the Ranger models. All engines respond well to modifications & custom dyno tuning.
