UDT SNORKEL UPGRADE

Fitting a snorkel will simply move the engine’s air intake from under the bonnet, to roof height. It provides access to cleaner & cooler air & also provides less chance of water entering the engine in the case of crossing creeks & rivers etc. We have found that the addition of a snorkel to an engine makes very little or no difference to the power/torque output (not noticeable anyway!), however with one fitted the engine is a lot less susceptible to dirt ingress & water making its way into the intake.

So, feeding your engine with the best quality air is always a bonus & the cleaner air will be better for the life of your air filter over a long trip, as it will stay cleaner for longer.
