MAZDA BT-50 (GEN 2)
In 2011, the UP BT-50 (Gen 2) model was released, leading to the UR model in 2015 (which is still current). With a few facelifts & engine changes over the years, these models of BT-50s are a lot more family-friendly & great all-rounders. They have been quite popular & are a strong contender amongst its common-rail diesel 4X4 rivals. Like the earlier UN model, the engine duties are still shared with Ford’s Ranger – the 2.2-litre 4 cylinder turbo & the 3.2-litre 5 cylinder turbo. All engines respond very well to modifications & tuning.
