GEEBUNG, BRISBANE, QLD
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Technician to join the Ultimate Diesel Tuning Team at our head office & workshop at Geebung in Brisbane’s Northside. Ultimate Diesel Tuning has performance centres in Melbourne, Brisbane & the Gold Coast – we are a diesel performance enhancing & tuning company.
This role is Monday – Friday. We are looking for a fully qualified 4wd & light vehicle diesel mechanic/technician, who has experience with common-rail diesel vehicles & enjoys working in a busy workshop in a great team environment.
This role incorporates mechanical work, as well as operating our 4WD dyno & also carrying out front counter work including performance advising.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised & effective team member with a strong attention to detail to ensure that our excellent customer service standards are met. Training will be provided for the performance modification/dyno operation & front office/service advisor aspects of this role.
Remuneration is negotiable & is dependent on the successful applicant’s expertise.
Duties include –
* Fitting upgraded performance parts to turbo diesel vehicles
* Fault diagnosis & rectification
* Operating the dyno & assisting the tuner as required
* Carrying out general service advising/customer service to our customers
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified 4wd & light vehicle diesel mechanic/technician & will have:
* Good computer skills
* Exceptional time management & communication skills
* A positive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
* The ability to take initiative & work hard
* Own tools
* An unrestricted auto & manual Driver’s Licence
* A passion for 4WDs
The successful candidate will always take pride in performing & delivering quality work; will be reliable, punctual, committed, self-motivated, well organised, accurate & resourceful & must be able to work overtime if required.
